Unreal Engine-based Component Integration Technology

We use Unreal Engine for the realization of the "Truly-Immersive XR Metaverse" platform and use the integration technology of various components provided by the engine to provide photorealistic graphic quality. In the United States, which is promoting componentization of software at the national level, there are reports that it has increased development productivity by 10 times and quality assurance by 16 times. In Korea, the Korea Software Component Consortium KCSC has been established, and it plans to develop 3,000 common components by 2022. The government is fostering the software component industry, which is expected to grow at an average annual rate of about 100% through standardization. In line with this trend, we are developing software by controlling various components in an integrated way.

Unlike the existing coding method, we integrate and control the components of Unreal Engine to make them suitable for metaverse development. A complex metaverse system can be quickly built by manufacturing each module in the development unit in advance and assembling the module in the part requiring specific skills, and it can be reused in similar parts. This technology is very effectively used to standardize and extend the metaverse platform.
